When visiting us
You are welcome to visit us, with or without an appointment. If you make an appointment, the archival document you wish to view will be available on arrival. Without an appointment it will take about 30 minutes before the materials arrive at the reading room.

Opening times
On Monday and Tuesday we are open from 9:00 to 13:00. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we are open from 9:00 to 17:00.
The reading room will not be open on these dates:

Information for disabled visitors
The building and grounds are wheelchair-friendly. The paths through our building are open and wide and there is a lift available as well as wheelchair-friendly toilets.
Facilities
- There are lockers at the entrance where you can put your belongings.
- There are computers in the reading room for your use.
- There are sockets in the reading room for your laptop or other devices.
You can use the wifi free of charge - Toilets are available on each floor.
- There is a coffee machine on the ground floor. You can also bring your own lunch there.
Costs
Visiting the archives and viewing records is free of charge. And of construction drawings you may take photos.
But if you would like a reproduction of an image, or a scan of a construction drawing? That does cost money.

Route
The archives are a 15 minute walk from the trainstation Rotterdam Centraal.
The archives can be reached by tramlines 4 and 6, you get off at the 'Heer Bokleweg' stop. Or tram line 7, you gett off at the 'Pompenburg' stop.
The nearest metro station is 'Stadhuis'.
