What do we preserve?

700 years of the city's history. Our collection includes archives of the municipality, as well as archives of companies, foundations, photographers and residents. We preserve prints, photographs, films, maps, sound recordings, books, magazines, articles and more than 20 kilometres of paper records.

Do you have original archive or visual material about Rotterdam that you think should be preserved forever? Do your photos, letters or videos tell the history of Rotterdam? Who knows, it might be a nice addition to the collection of the city archive. Please fill out the donation offer form.
